Citrus is the regional delegation of Solidarités Jeunesses in Tarn-et-Garonne, France. Citrus' values are : doing together, active solidarity, local anchoring, and popular education! Volunteers in Citrus carry these values through these activities : - International workcamps : participating to the renovation of the village's farmhouse, gardening, cooking... - Local activities : organizing international diners, linguistics coffees, workshops... with the community! - Hosting groups of international yongsters, individuals, or trainings, in the village : supporting the logistics (preparing food, menus, planning, activities...) - Promotion of international volunteering and communcation - Organizing the collective life with the other volunteers! Volunteers work 5 days a week, usually Monday to Friday in 35 hours.
Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport
Citrus is located in Laguépie, a small village of 850 inhabitants. It is full of associations, shops, 2 markets, 2 bars, 2 restaurants, and a river beach in summer! The village is surrounded by nature. The train station is located in the village, and it takes you to Toulouse in 1h30. You will live with 6 to 10 other volunteers in a house located in laguépie, with 3 living rooms, an office, internet/wifi, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a large garden. There are 3 bedrooms (one with 8 beds, one with 5 beds, and one with 3 beds). The house is yours, so feel free to make it your home!
Taħriġ matul l-attività
Depending on the project's schedule, you can have the opportunity to : - Participate in one training course of your choice provided by Solidarités Jeunesses - Spend one week in another delegation of Solidarités Jeunesses to meet other volunteers and discover a different way of working (if possible with the agenda of your volunteering)
Profil tal-parteċipant
There are no competencies required to participate but willingness to the volunteering project and being open to discover new cultures. Open to everybody from European Union partner countries between 18-30 years old but what matters the most is the motivation!
