Deskrizzjoni

The Mythos Project is a 3-week ESC group volunteering project where 15 young people come together at Manas Garden to co-create a monumental art installation. You’ll work hands-on with wood and natural materials, take part in artistic workshops led by the Manas Festival team, and experience what it’s like to live in a permaculture-based community. The days combine creative building, practical outdoor work and shared learning and the evenings are about cooking together, reflecting, connecting and enjoying nature. No previous experience is needed, just motivation, openness and the courage to create something big together. Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport

You’ll stay in shared tents (2–6 people) with basic bedding and a cozy setup provided, but bring a warm sleeping bag as nights can drop to 5°C. There’s a communal shower with hot water, a washing machine and a shared kitchen. We cook and eat vegetarian meals together using ingredients from the community. May temperatures range from 10–21°C, so pack clothes for outdoor work you don’t mind getting dirty. There’s no public WiFi, so make sure you have enough mobile data.

Taħriġ matul l-attività

During these three weeks, you’ll gain hands-on experience in large-scale art-making, teamwork and creative problem-solving. You’ll develop practical skills in basic construction and working with natural materials, while also learning about permaculture and sustainable community living. Beyond the practical side, you’ll strengthen your communication skills, adaptability and confidence through shared responsibilities, reflection sessions and living closely with an international group. And of course, you’ll receive a Youthpass to reflect on and recognise everything you’ve learned along the way.

Profil tal-parteċipant

We are looking for 15 motivated individuals aged 18–30 who are legal residents of the European Union. This project is for people who want to build, experiment and create together. If large-scale art and collaborative making excite you, this is the right place for you. No prior experience in construction, art or permaculture is required. What matters is openness, motivation and a willingness to engage. Living and working at Manas means participating actively in community life — through shared responsibilities, reflection sessions and open dialogue. If you’re ready to spend three weeks building a monumental art installation while growing alongside others, this project is for you.
