Spend your ESC volunteering experience surrounded by nature - protecting biodiversity, supporting environmental education and inspiring young nature lovers in Kaunas Lagoon Regional Park. 🌿 Volunteers will contribute to preserving the unique natural environment of the regional park while supporting educational and community activities. This project offers a dynamic combination of practical outdoor work and creative engagement with visitors, children and local communities. 🌱 Two different volunteering positions are available: 🌼 1) practical work (fixing infrastructure, cutting bushes, grass, monitoring visitors, nature observation, counting numbers of animals, birds, plants) and other work related with seasonal works in the regional park. 🐦 2) working with kids and adults in the visitors centre, and with the "Young ranger" circle (organizing activities for little kids) helping with monitoring nature, herb picking, sign making, taking photos and videos of daily activities 📸

Profil tal-parteċipant
We are looking for 2 motivated and responsible volunteers who are interested in nature, environmental protection and outdoor activities. 🌿 The ideal candidate is hard-working, self-organised and curious to learn new practical skills. They should feel comfortable interacting with both children and adults, be creative and open to supporting educational and community activities in the regional park. 🌲 This role can also be especially suitable for more introverted volunteers, as there is a possibility to focus on practical outdoor tasks such as environmental maintenance and infrastructure support. 🌱
