Green Summit || Volunteering Team in Rural Bulgaria

Green Summit is an ESC project of Green Association (greenassn.com) with a short-term volunteering team, which will take place in JUNE 2026 and can be extended to a long-term mobility in case of interest from both sides. In this project 14 volunteers from program countries will be hosted in RURAL BULGARIA. The main part of the activities will take place in the newly emerging SOCIAL CENTER of Green Association in Architectural Reserve Staro Stefanovo village, and the Green House in Momin prohod. Green volunteers can get rich experience in PERMACULTURE, SUSTAINABLE LIVING, BUILDING WITH NATURAL MATERIALS, COMMUNITY BUILDING, and EVENT MANAGMENT in general. Among the main activities to achieve our objectives are the RECONSTRUCTION and RESTORATION of the social center, organization of EVENTS promoting sustainable living, WORKSHOPS, FESTIVALS and other that will provide valuable experience to our volunteers. Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport
The working hours of the volunteers will be in general within 30-35 hours per week, with 18 working and 10 days off in total. Food will be provided during the working days. Volunteers will get extra food money for their days off. Pocket and extra food money is fixed to 250 EUR in total. People will be mostly CAMPING and occasionally accommodated in MIXED ROOMS in а guest house. Travel costs are REIMBURSED up to a maximum budget (between 180 and 410 EUR) depending on the means of transportation and the distance estimated by Erasmus + distance calculator.

Volunteers will be trained in building with natural materials, basic gardening, outdoor events management and community building practices.
Profil tal-parteċipant
→Between 18 and 30 years old; →Permanent residence in a country with no visa requirements for BG; →With different backgrounds (including fewer opportunities); →With different competences and interests (sustainability, permaculture, event management, project development, youth activities, multimedia, etc.) →Willingness to stand BASIC LIVING CONDITIONS while camping (solar shower, no shops or services nearby, etc.) and to SLEEP IN A TENT for long periods (more than 2 weeks) is a must!
