Clarecare is in operation since 1968, providing three core services which includes Care of the Older Person, Family Support Services and Addiction Treatment Services. Our mission is to provide person-centred services to individuals and families within our communities. We currently operate four Day Care Centres in County Clare. We would like to extend the positive impact we have within our community to an international level. We recognise the value of cultural exchange and cross-border cooperation in addressing common societal challenges. By participating in the European Solidarity Corps, we aim to create an environment where young Europeans can contribute to our intergenerational and care of the older person impact through volunteering at Day Care Centre, while gaining valuable work experience and exposure to our community-driven initiatives. Clarecare seeks innovation and is open to new ideas.
Ubytovanie, strava a doprava
Accommodation is arranged with a host family where food will be provided. Flights and travel will be provided on arrival and departure.
Odborná príprava počas činnosti
Training opportunities will include Induction, Manual Handling, Health and Safety, Health Care support worker, Bus assistant, activity and exercise planning and implementation. A Crucial part of our Day Care Service is the provision of nutritious meals. Training will be provided in assisting with the distribution of the meals in addition to fostering a welcoming, community focused environment.
