ISKCON Jandelsbrunn e.V.
Jandelsbrunn, il-Ġermanja
Deskrizzjoni
This volunteering experience takes place within a farm and Bhakti yoga community, offering a hands-on introduction to sustainable living and community-based work. Volunteers engage in a variety of activities, including garden cultivation, kitchen support, and general maintenance tasks such as cleaning and event & festivals preparation. A central focus of the program is contributing to the self-sufficiency of a vibrant young community of approximately 30 people. Participants gain practical experience in permaculture and its implementation, working directly with raised beds and greenhouses while learning sustainable growing techniques. Seasonal activities include preparing for the autumn harvest and winter, as well as the full cycle of vegetable production—from sowing and tending to harvesting and processing. Volunteers are encouraged to take initiative by developing their own small projects and contributing ideas, supported by experienced gardening and environmental practitioners.
