Join the Breil Social and Cultural Center, a welcoming and vibrant space rooted in inclusion, solidarity, and community engagement. As a volunteer, you'll contribute to promoting the center’s activities through posters, social media, and community outreach. You’ll support the team in organizing and running activities for children, youth, and families, and help lead workshops focused on food, parenting, and intercultural exchange. You’ll also be encouraged to develop new projects for families in collaboration with staff and create your own personal initiative in line with the values of the center. Ubytovanie, strava a doprava
The future volunteer will be provided with a room in a shared house alongside other volunteers (single or shared room, depending on the recruitment). The house is conveniently located near a supermarket and a bus stop, allowing quick access to the city centre. As outlined in the information kit, the volunteer will receive €8 per day as pocket money and €9 per day for meals. A bicycle and a transport card for the public transport are also available for getting around the city
Odborná príprava počas činnosti
The volunteer will also take part in an integration week organized by the Maison de l’Europe in Nantes, as well as two weeks of training organized by the National Agency (Erasmus+) covering intercultural communication, non-formal education, and European topics. French classes for two months will also be provided.

The ideal candidate is someone motivated by social connection, diversity and community life, eager to work with a wide range of people and genuinely open to encountering different life realities. Curious and enthusiastic, they are driven to propose activities that engage participants and bring energy to the neighbourhood. They bring a warm, caring attitude and an open mind, ready to connect with people of all ages — from 0 to 100! A comfort with both children and adults is essential, as is a love for cooking, which sits at the very heart of our mission.
