Opis

Since 1991, Philanthropy has supported marginalized and vulnerable groups through social, educational, economic empowerment, agricultural, and community capacity-building programs. Project Assistant role will have these key responsibilities: ✔ Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of project activities and events. ✔ Research and track funding opportunities, grants, and calls for project proposals. ✔ Assist in the development and writing of project proposals and supporting documentation. ✔ Contribute to narrative reporting by collecting, organizing, and analyzing relevant information and data. ✔ Support project monitoring and evaluation activities, including tracking progress, results, and impact. ✔ Assist with administrative and logistical tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day project operations. This position is open to candidates with previous volunteering experience, and the 12-month volunteering period limit does not apply.

Ubytovanie, strava a doprava

Philanthropy will be in charge of the budget for accommodation and utilities and will find you a suitable one-bedroom apartment in Belgrade. You will pay for your food costs and transportation from the monthly allowance of 470 EUR. Public transportation in Belgrade is free of charge. You will share the apartment with another international volunteer hosted by Philanthropy in Belgrade, but you will have your lockable bedroom and separate bathroom.

Odborná príprava počas činnosti

You will collaborate with your mentors to develop a learning and development plan and may join Philanthropy's capacity-building activities where possible. Along with the mandatory Code of Conduct orientation and Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults training, you can also receive training in Project Cycle Management and Monitoring & Evaluation, helping you better understand program development and activity implementation.

Profil účastníka

Volunteer should to be adoptive to cultural sensitivities and changes in context that come with humanitarian and development work. It is expected that she/he accepts zero tolerance policy for any type of discrimination. Volunteer needs to be responsible and strictly to adhere with Philanthropy’s Code of Conduct and other mandatory policies, especially Safeguarding Policy, Antidiscrimination Policy and Data Protection Policy. Preferably, volunteer should be communicative person, open to new. For this position, Philanthropy prefers to engage a organized person with good written and verbal English skills.
