Volunteering Activity at Casa dos Maza, Cambados, Spain

Deskrizzjoni

The volunteer will participate in a European Solidarity Corps volunteering activity at Casa dos Maza in Cambados, Pontevedra, Spain. The activity will include organic farming, youth fair activities, guided visits, afforestation and environmental awareness activities, intercultural events, creative personal projects and community-based non-formal education activities.

Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport

The volunteer will be provided with safe and adequate accommodation during the activity period. Accommodation will be in a shared flat, with a double room possibility. The volunteer will receive a food allowance of 6 EUR per day, paid monthly in cash, and will be responsible for managing their own meals.

Taħriġ matul l-attività

The volunteer will receive preparation and support before and during the activity. This includes pre-departure preparation, language support in Spanish, mentoring, task-related guidance, and participation in relevant ESC training activities such as on-arrival training if invited or organised by the National Agency.

Profil tal-parteċipant

The participant should be motivated, open-minded and interested in volunteering, intercultural learning, youth work, environmental activities and community engagement. The volunteer should be able to work in a team, adapt to different living and working conditions, respect local rules and culture, take responsibility for assigned tasks and contribute actively to the visibility and dissemination of the project.
