Opis
A shorter, intense placement focused on hands-on support for newcomers and people with fewer opportunities in Gliwice. Ideal for a meaningful first experience of international volunteering. You join our integration activities and help people feel welcome from day one. A short, intensive placement supporting integration activities for newcomers and young people with fewer opportunities. What you do: work as an intercultural assistant, run ice-breaking and integration games, support language practice, and help at cultural evenings and community events.
Ubytovanie, strava a doprava
The foundation provides a furnished room in Gliwice, within easy reach of our office. Volunteers receive a monthly food allowance (6 EUR per day) and pocket money (6 EUR per day), about 360 EUR per month in total. Travel costs to and from Poland are reimbursed according to European Solidarity Corps distance bands, and every volunteer is covered by the ESC insurance scheme. Some activities take place at our educational centre in Miedzybrodzie Bialskie in the Beskidy mountains; transport for these trips is organised and covered by the foundation.
Odborná príprava počas činnosti
The volunteer receives preparatory support before departure, on-arrival training, weekly Polish language support plus access to the Online Language Support (OLS), a personal mentor with regular one-to-one meetings, and ongoing support from the coordinating team. Learning outcomes are documented throughout the activity and confirmed with a Youthpass certificate.

- Age 18 to 30, warm, reliable and motivated - No qualifications needed - English is enough, open to Polish basics - Interest in people and integration We welcome applications from young people with fewer opportunities. No qualifications or previous experience are required; motivation matters most.
