Opis
CARE Luxembourg (www.care.lu) is part of the CARE International confederation, which works to combat poverty and injustice, to restore dignity and to provide emergency assistance during humanitarian crises.
The European volunteer will be fully integrated into the CARE Luxembourg team and will provide operational support to two key areas of the organization:
- Supporting the implementation of the dayCARE project, one of CARE Luxembourg's flagship youth engagement initiatives (see https://www.daycare.lu/). The volunteer will provide substantial operational support throughout the preparation, implementation and follow-up of the dayCARE programme.
- Supporting CARE Luxembourg's communication activities, helping increase the visibility of our humanitarian work and awareness-raising actions in Luxembourg. The volunteer will actively contribute to strengthening CARE Luxembourg's communication and public visibility.
Ubytovanie, strava a doprava
The volunteer will be allocated for each working day a "Ticket Restaurant", which is a voucher accepted by restaurants and food shops, with a value of 8,40€. The transportation is free in Luxembourg which is very convenient to come to the office and to visit the country. Our office is very close to the Railway Station of Luxembourg city. We will organise an accommodation for the volunteer, helped in this by the SNJ.
Odborná príprava počas činnosti
The volunteer will be fully integrated into the team and will contribute directly to the success of the dayCARE programme. They will gain valuable experience in communication, coordination, and the humanitarian sector, while bringing a fresh European perspective to our work with young people, companies, and schools. They will be under the management and guidance of an experienced member of CARE team. If some trainings are necessary, we can build together a plan.
Profil účastníka
The volunteer must be adhering to our values and to our ambition for this project. They must be good in communication, well organised, motivated and dedicated to their work. They must be willing to learn new things and to be integrated in a dynamic team. The volunteers should speak French or German.
