Language & Community Volunteer at an International Business School in Prague

Anglo - německá obchodní akademie a.s.

Praha 5 - Stodůlky, Česko

Opis

Join our international secondary business school in Prague and become part of a friendly team dedicated to education, languages and community engagement.

As an ESC volunteer, you will support English or German language lessons, help students improve their communication skills, participate in creative and cultural activities, and contribute to community events organised with our local partners.

You will never teach alone. Instead, you will work together with experienced teachers, support students in small groups, organise conversation activities, help with cultural workshops and assist in preparing school and community events.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to our school's social media, website and digital storytelling, sharing your experience and promoting European solidarity.

Living in Prague will give you the chance to experience Czech culture, meet young people from different backgrounds and become part of an active international school community.

Ubytovanie, strava a doprava

Volunteers will be accommodated in shared furnished apartments with Wi-Fi and easy access to the school by public transport. Monthly public transport costs, accommodation, food allowance and pocket money will be fully covered according to the European Solidarity Corps programme rules. Volunteers will receive practical support before arrival and throughout their stay, including mentoring and assistance with everyday life in Prague.

Odborná príprava počas činnosti

Volunteers will receive comprehensive onboarding, including an introduction to the school, their role, safeguarding, health and safety, and intercultural learning. Throughout the project, they will benefit from regular mentoring, feedback sessions and practical training in language support, communication, teamwork, event organisation and digital media. They will also participate in the European Solidarity Corps training cycle and receive a Youthpass certificate at the end of their volunteering experience.
