VolunTACC – Europe in Action involves one international volunteer who will join TACC’s International Projects Department, gaining hands-on experience in European youth projects, international cooperation and non-formal education.
The volunteer will support the development of Erasmus+ projects, from organisation and documentation to communication with international partners and participants.
They will also take an active role in Youth Exchanges, Training Courses and other international activities, supporting their preparation and implementation and working directly with young people.
Through these experiences, the project will promote European mobility, inclusion, active citizenship and intercultural dialogue, both at TACC’s office in Barcelona and in other locations where international activities take place.
Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport
*Accommodation: volunteers will live in shared apartments located in municipalities around Barcelona;
*Food: volunteers will receive 5,33 €/day for food.
*Pocket Money: volunteers will receive a pocket money of 6 €/day.
*Travel costs: volunteers' international travel cost will be paid from the project budget according to the programme distance calculator.
*Local Transport: volunteers will receive a monthly "local transport money".
*Insurance: volunteers will be covered by EHIC and HENNER insurance.
Taħriġ matul l-attività
Volunteers will participate to on-arrival training and mid-term evaluation provided by the National Agency in Spain. Moreover, they will be provided with an online SPANISH language course through EuAcademy. They will have the possibility to participate in workshops of conversational Spanish and to engage in Catalan language training organized by TACC or other associations/institutions of the local community.
Profil tal-parteċipant
We are looking for an open-minded, proactive and motivated young person with an interest in European projects, international cooperation, youth work and intercultural learning. The volunteer should enjoy working in an international environment, communicating with young people and collaborating as part of a team. Organisational, communication and digital skills, as well as curiosity and willingness to learn, will be valued. Previous experience in Erasmus+ or youth projects is welcome but not required. The volunteer should be able to communicate in English, while basic Spanish will be useful for daily life and interaction with local young people.
