ActionAid Spain aims to achieve active citizenship that challenges inequalities and promotes human rights. Through international cooperation, humanitarian action and advocacy, we work to advance gender justice, migrants’ rights and climate justice. Join our team in Madrid and contribute to meaningful social change while developing your skills in communications and content creation. In this role, you will support the design and implementation of our communication and social media strategy by creating engaging content for different digital formats. You will contribute to updating the organisation’s digital platforms, monitor the performance of web and social media channels through analytics tools, and support the management of media and press contacts. The role also involves writing content such as newsletters, blog posts and press releases, participating in project meetings, and contributing to strategic communication initiatives that help strengthen the impact of our work.
Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport
You will have the opportunity to live together with other volunteers of different nationalities in a shared flat. The accommodation costs and utility bills will be covered by the hosting organization and free Wi-fi will be provided. You will receive a monthly pocket money for your personal expenses and food and local transport allowance each month, you will also have a health insurance (Henner).
Taħriġ matul l-attività
The volunteer will receive training on: ActionAid, ESC, Youthpass, Henner, cultural immersion, etc. In addition, you will participate in two Spanish National Agency trainings together with other international volunteers in Spain. In case language support is needed, the volunteer will have free access to online language training.
Profil tal-parteċipant
We are looking for a creative and proactive communication professional with a background in Journalism, Communication, Marketing, Graphic Design, Audiovisual Communication or a related field. The ideal candidate has strong skills in graphic design and video editing, experience creating content for social media and digital platforms, and excellent communication skills in Spanish and English. We value a team-oriented and well-organised person with experience in content creation, social media management, website updates, and digital analytics, who is able to adapt content to different audiences and formats while paying close attention to detail
