ActionAid Spain works to promote active citizenship that challenges inequalities and defends human rights. Through international cooperation, humanitarian action and advocacy, we advance gender justice, migrants’ rights and climate justice. Join our team at our headquarters in Madrid. As part of the People Management team, the volunteer will support a digital transformation project focused on the development and optimisation of Human Resources processes through the Bizneo HR platform. Throughout the placement, the volunteer will help review and improve existing platform functionalities, contribute to the implementation of new tools and processes, and support initiatives aimed at enhancing internal operations, employee experience and organisational efficiency. This role offers hands-on experience in digitalisation, and HR systems within an international NGO, and collaboration with colleagues across People Management, Strategic Resources and Bizneo's technical support team.
Ubytovanie, strava a doprava
You will have the opportunity to live together with other volunteers of different nationalities in a shared flat. The accommodation costs and utility bills will be covered by the hosting organization and free Wi-fi will be provided. You will receive a monthly pocket money for your personal expenses and food and local transport allowance each month, you will also have a health insurance (Henner).
Odborná príprava počas činnosti
The volunteer will receive comprehensive training on ActionAid, the European Solidarity Corps (ESC), Youthpass, Henner, and cultural integration. They will also receive specific induction on People Management processes, Bizneo HR, data protection, safeguarding, compliance, and internal procedures. Throughout the placement, ongoing mentoring and support will be provided, alongside participation in two training sessions organised by the Spanish National Agency. Online language support will be available if needed.
Profil účastníka
We are looking for a motivated volunteer with a background or strong interest in Human Resources, Business Administration, Digital Transformation, Information Systems, or a related field. The ideal candidate is interested in the intersection of technology, people management, and process improvement. Previous experience is not essential, but any academic, professional, or volunteering experience related to digital tools, information management, HR processes, databases, documentation, or process digitalisation will be an asset. Knowledge of Bizneo HR or other HR information systems is welcome but not required. Applicants should have excellent digital skills, strong attention to detail, good organisational and problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to learn. They should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, adaptable to new challenges, and committed to ActionAid's values and mission. Languages: Spanish (C1 minimum, required) and English (B2 or higher preferred).
