We are looking for European volunteers to join our team at Gramigna APS, an Italian NGO based in a beautiful village in the South of Italy named Torrecuso. Our organisation is dedicated to social inclusion, sustainability, youth empowerment, and local community development.
Based in Torrecuso, we work closely with local partners like the Youth Forum (Forum Giovani) to organize key community events, such as the annual Novello e Castagne festival in November. As part of the national ARCI network, we also connect and collaborate with various organizations across the neighboring City of Benevento. As a volunteer, you will facilitate educational activities for middle school students and support Erasmus+ project outreach through social media, content creation, and broader communication initiatives.
Ubytovanie, strava a doprava
- Accommodation: You will live with the other international volunteers in a shared apartment. You will have a double room when you arrive. And a single room after more or less 10 days that previous volunteers depart. The apartment includes shared bathrooms, a kitchen, and a dining room.
- Financial Support: Pocket money is provided each month, along with a dedicated food allowance according to official ESC standards (total of 360 EUR/month).
- Travel & Transport: Your travel to and from Italy will be reimbursed up to the official ESC distance calculator limit. Local transport arrangements for project activities will be covered by the organisation. Please note: your accommodation and most activities will be in a rural area with limited daily public transport.
Odborná príprava počas činnosti
This short-term autumn project offers a unique hands-on experience combining rural/agricultural activities, digital communication, and community engagement.
During this season, you will actively participate in:
- Digital Communication & Media: Supporting Gramigna’s digital footprint through social media management, content creation, editorial work, and visual storytelling for our ongoing projects.
- Community & Youth Support: Supporting local workshops, Erasmus+ initiatives, and community festivals taking place in and around Torrecuso during the autumn season.
- Autumn Harvest & Rural Life: You will discover the process to make olive oil and engage in olive harvesting in the local countryside.
Profil účastníka
We are looking for an open-minded European volunteer (aged 20–30) ready to embrace countryside life and team dynamics.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Active participation in outdoor and agricultural tasks (olive harvesting).
- Creating media content (social media posts, articles, graphic materials, photos/videos).
- Assisting the staff in non-formal education workshops, Erasmus+ activities, and local festivals.
- Daily independent living: volunteers are responsible for cleaning their shared house and cooking their own meals in a cooperative spirit.
