Deskrizzjoni

This volunteering opportunity within the European Solidarity Corps takes place in the western part of the Czech Republic, specifically in the municipalities of Spálené Poříčí, Žinkovy, and Měcholupy, all located within 30 minutes of the regional capital Plzeň. The activities are carried out within the framework of the Local Action Group of St. John of Nepomuk (MAS SJN) and focus on the cultural and social revitalization of rural areas. Due to their geographic remoteness and low population density, the municipalities in this region often lack sufficient facilities for community activities, which are key to strengthening interpersonal relationships and developing local society.

Accommodation is provided and fully covered by the project. There is a private room on the organization’s premises, equipped with a bathroom and a kitchen. The volunteer will receive pocket money of EUR 7 per day. Travel costs to and from the Czech Republic will be reimbursed according to ESC limits. The volunteer will be accommodated directly in Spálené Poříčí, so there is no need for long daily commuting.
