Opis organizácie

Our kindergarten is over 60 years old and it is located in the middle of the city, near the Zeromski's Park and Wały Chrobrego, which is the main point of the city. The kndergarten has a well-equipped playground: a tower with a slide, rockers, swings and a sandpit. It is open from 6:30 am to 5 pm. Children during their stay eat four meals: breakfast, second breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Children can participate in many activities: English and German classes are mandatory, in addition, may participate in football and dance classes. Children who need it, they can meet with a speech therapist. Our nursery has a martime profile. The group names are related to the sea "professions": "Vikings" and "Pirates" - the oldest groups; "Sailors" and Fishermen" - the middle groups and "Seamen" - the youngest ones. Children learn songs and dances related with the sea. The kindergarten cooperates with Martime Academy, Youth Palace and Sailing Center which we are visiting many times in a school year. This year, our kindergarten won the Kota Umbriagi sailing award for outstanding achievements in the field of maritime and sailing education. Children visit many exhibitions in the National Museum, The Museum of History and Pomeranian Duke's Castle in Szczecin, listen to concerts in concert hall, we take part in every maritime event in Szczecin. We are regular visitors to the Philharmonic, which is located in close proximity to the kindergarten.
