Synergy Bulgaria was founded in 2013 with the purpose to support young people in their social, personal, and professional development. Our mission is to empower young people through experiential learning and coaching to lead a purposeful life. We empower, inspire, and educate people to become active members of society and bring a positive change into it.

The aims of Synergy Bulgaria are:
- to promote non-formal education and volunteering as a strong platform for personal and professional development and as an alternative to unemployment;
- to encourage entrepreneurship in young people;
- to create space for social contacts between people of all ages from different socio-economic, educational and cultural backgrounds;
- to spread the ideas of lifelong learning, development of new competences (values, skills, knowledge) and European values.

We achieve our goals by organizing local and international activities:
- hosting and facilitating local SynergyLab workshops, Story.me story-telling evenings and informal gatherings;
- using diverse non-formal learning methods in our activities to develop such competences as: entrepreneurship, creativity, emotional intelligence, social inclusion, accountability, leadership, active participation, solidarity, etc.;
- hosting and coordinating international volunteering projects, youth exchanges and training courses for youth workers;
- providing quality mentorship and coaching to our target groups and volunteers to develop their personal ideas;
- shaping a community of people with common learning interests, needs and values.

Our efforts are directed mainly to youth and adults with an entrepreneurial spirit who strive for personal and professional growth and are ready to experiment while learning:
- active youth and volunteers (18-30);
- young entrepreneurs and professionals;
- disadvantaged young people facing fewer opportunities;
- trainers, facilitators, social and youth workers, youth leaders, mentors and coaches working with youth.

Synergy Bulgaria utilizes the experience of trainers, youth workers and volunteers in creating new opportunities for youngsters. The core team is composed of three experienced members and five volunteers, as well as supported by local partners, volunteers and mentors.

What’s more, Synergy Bulgaria is a part of the International Synergy Group with whom we share a common vision of a world that works for everyone. International Synergy Group is a network of 35 organizations all over Europe which work together to offer opportunities for education and development of young people, groups and society.
