TERA - Maison de l’Europe de la Charente is a non-profit organisation, created in 2004 by youth workers and volunteers who wanted to involve more young people in European and international projects. With the overall goal of intercultural comprehension and cooperation, we have been very active in the field of European citizenship and exchanges since our foundation.
Core Aims:
- To raise awareness about European citizenship and mobility opportunities in Europe for all ages but especially for young people between 15 and 30 years old.
- To increase local participation in international exchange projects, training and good practice sharing in the fields of non-formal education, culture, and European citizenship.
- To promote the employability and social inclusion of young unemployed people
Activities:
- Support to voluntary organisations, federations and educational institutions in the Charente Department of France by setting up youth exchanges and strategic partnership projects
- Organization of European projects under the framework of Erasmus+, Europe for Citizens and European Solidarity Corps
- Information and local events about Europe: talks, debates, public events, conferences, exhibitions, documentation
- Support and training for other organizations: European project management, organization of European mobility, training, etc.
- Developing rural networks in Charente for increased access to European mobility and projects
- Din l-organizzazzjoni għandha Tikketta tal-Kwalità tal-Korp Ewropew ta’ Solidarjetà. It-Tikketta tal-Kwalità tiċċertifika li l-organizzazzjoni tista’ twettaq proġetti f’konformità mal-prinċipji u l-objettivi tal-Korp Ewropew ta’ Solidarjetà.
