The Cooperativa EOS was born in the 2010. It is a non-profit organisation and represent the result of the “active citzenship” of a group of youngsters, motivated in working to help the most vulnerable and committed to increase the quality of the social life. Mainly, EOS focuses its attention to children in risk of social disadvantage, to minors and young people who need educational, familiar and personal support . EOS was founded on the principles of mutuality and is a non-profit organization of social utility that achieves its purpose with measures for prevention, rehabilitation and social integration, through the management of social services, health, educational and cultural.
The organizational structure of EOS is formed from several areas of focus that include activities and services specific, the management of which takes place in a single system.
Our reference model is based on the principle of "empowerment": it is based on decentralization and responsibility sharing, dissemination and circular communication, teamwork. Is the result of a careful and continuous path aimed to achieve the best in operational practice.
Following the same principle, we put particular attention:
- In the operability of services and in the politics of structure
- creating and activating a "network" which enhance the efficacy of actions and mostly support the growth of an active social protection system , based on cooperation and reciprocity.
Pedagogists, educators and trainers, Eos' members, are the core of the Cooperativa. They have not only specialistic training and the experience with young people, but passion for education, competence and are trained continuously, too.
The staff employed, both in the administration or in the project area, is characterized by high professional and personal skills such as to have ensured up to now optimal management of the various sources available and, above all, the offer of services with high added value.
Partners: NGOs, social cooperatives, group of cooperatives, training and development agencies with which EOS plans and realizes sevices and projects.
The annual project planning is aimed to produce workshops and activities suitable for the psycho-physical development of every user. According to this, the Cooperative organises trainings like "Education to Affectivity and Sexuality" and "Civic Sense and Legality", creative and artistic workshops, the environmental sustainability through recycling and several activities which take place during all the year long: psychomotor, swim, equitation, dance, karate, football, cooking, ttheatre, music, school support and rediscovery of local traditions.
