Deskrizzjoni tal-Organizzazzjoni

International Centre for Sustainable Development (ICSD) is a Non-profit Organisation established in Ioannina, Greece. «ICSD» aims are to promote activities that contribute to sustainable development, the raising of the spiritual and economic standards, the scientific discussion and popularization of knowledge both in Greece and internationally. The promotion of «ICSD» objectives performed through activities associated with the development of actions for economic development, entrepreneurship, regional planning, social development and prosperity, reduction of economic and social inequalities and discrimination against poverty, support for vulnerable social groups, promotion of cultural and natural resources for sustainable development and develop new, alternative actions and partnerships in areas such as entrepreneurship, tourism and energy as a means of sustainable development.
In our institution people have professional knowledge and experience in human sciences, specifically in the fields of education, sociology, career guidance, entrepreunership, sustainablility etc. The staff of ICSD is young men and women with experience in the implementation and coordination of various national projects. Additionally, they work with other foreign educational organizations-academies, hosting people during their practical period where they work voluntarily in NGO's of our country. Finally the staff is also offering volunteer services to various NGO's that need help.
-Mr Panakoulias Stefanos is a Ph.D. Candidate in School of Education- University of Ioannina. Have a Master in ICT of school of education and a degree in science of Physics. He is involved in realization of EU projects and has longer years’ work experiences and knowledges with different kinds of EU projects. He acts as a project manager in various Projects. Furthermore is a lector in the department of Computer Engineering in TEI of Epirus and Managing Director in TECHLAB company and member of Team europe in European Commision in Greece.
-Mr Theodoros Roumelis is a Ph.D. Candidate in Department Economics - University of Ioannina. 2011 Master in Economic Analysis and Finance - University of Ioannina, 2007 Degree in Banking and Financial Management- University of Piraeus. Since 2011 he is working as project manager in ICSD. He has been involved in variety of projects and was also responsible for dissemination of information and results of projects. In addition, the ICSD members are University professors, European Central Bank officials and private sector executives.
