The Maresme County Council (CCM) is a public administration in the Maresme region. One of the departments of the CCM is the Regional Youth Service (SCJ), which will be in charge of the management of the European Solidarity Corps. Among the actions promoted by the SCJ, the Maresme International Youth Mobility Service is the project that includes all international mobility activities for young people that carry out SCJ in coordination with the municipalities.

SCJ actions aim to achieve the following strategic goals:
- Improve matching of interventions targeting young people from local youth reality and needs, promoting networking and joining resources among municipalities.
- Improve the access of young people to existing resources, improving and broadening the information and communication tools available.
- Support employability among youth, by increasing the access to educational and work opportunities, as well as entrepreneurship activities.

The target population to which the SCJ directs its actions are the young people of the Maresme region from 15 to 29 years old, pointing out special emphasis on those who are in a situation of social and / or economic vulnerability. All activities are directed through local youth workers in the region, mainly those working in local youth services.

The Maresme International Youth Mobility Service was created in 2012. It is currently participated by the CCM and 24 municipalities in the region. The service has a direct impact on the SCJ three strategic goals:
Enlarge local information resources and youth counseling;
offer different options to young people to have an opportunity to go to another country in order to meet other realities and develop through the acquisition of skills and competencies;
promote an active involvement in the society.

The International Youth Mobility Service is organized in three blocks of activities:
a) Youth activities: information, counseling and guidance of young people and organizations through individual counseling, workshops and training about different programs and mobility options, such as ESC, Erasmus+ and so on.
b) Youth workers and professionals activities: training youth workers and other professionals (educational, social services, employment, etc.) in the municipalities on young international mobility, information activities, face and online counseling, codesigning anb cocreating materials on young international mobility, etc.
