The Rural Development Center "O Viso" is a non-profit organization and non-governmental organization recognized as a "Public Utility Entity" since 2010. The C.D.R. "O Viso" has worked in the region of A Limia (Ourense, Galicia) since its inception in 1990 and has participated as a sending and host organization in programs of the European Voluntary Service since 2005. The organization's main objective is to work in the rural community to avoid depopulation and at the same time promote human development through comprehensive actions of social, educational, economic, training and employment development to allow people in rural areas, the maximum permanence in their environment , in the best conditions and with a good quality of life. The MISSION of the organization is to accompany the people of the Limiano rural environment in development processes that take on the challenge of making everyone and everyone grow. The VISION of the CDR "O Viso" is to be a benchmark of the "achievable utopia" in the Galician rural environment, with an integral development strategy aimed at the most vulnerable rural population of the A Limia region through different global actions of social, educational, informative, economic, training and employment nature allowing our community to remain in its environment in the best conditions and with the best possible quality of life.
