Deskrizzjoni tal-Organizzazzjoni

The Hives Project is a non profit civil partnership that is inspired by the principals of mutual respect and careness of the life society, environmental integrity, social and financial justice, democracy ,non violence and peace.
Our aims are :1. the creation of social structures where ideas of solidarity and equality will be spreaded,
2.the inspiration for natural farming and permaculture design with respect on the natural environment, respect for biodiversity, sustainability ,within Greece and abroad, by promoting, educating ,supporting of local production,the creation of a net that supports the local producers and inspires them in collaboration,
3.information of consumers and especially of young people from all over the world, through creative alternative and volunteering activities that aim in solidarity, sustainability both in individual and social aspect, moral consumption , non -violence and environmental respect.
4. the promotion and support of non typical -learning by doing knowledge, following the principles of sustainability, bio-natural agriculture, and the practice of the principles of permaculture. Our community project is a project of altermative lifestyle inspired by the principles of cooperation, mutual respect, respect and restoration of the natural environment.
5.the promotion, training, support, management of non typical learning training programs
6.the promotion of culture and traditions of the local agricultural society by organising cultural events
7.the promotion of the ideas of non typical learning and free playing for children from the first age.
Our target groups are young people with fewer opportunities, women, farmers, immigrants and non typical groups of people that are facing discrimination matters.
To realise our aims we are maintaining a eco-friendly guesthouse where young people from all over Europe are meeting with each other, we are working our farmimg land with permaculture and natural farming techniques while we are increasing biodiversity, we are organising seminars and workshops , exhibitions, festivals, bazaars and exploration tours. Moreover we are operating an information office in our village to inform the local society about environmental issues and good practices, european dimentions and opportunities as well as interculturalism .
