The KSV Hessen Kassel is a football club in the region northern hessia. In Germanys sport No. 1 football, we have a 70 years old history and in the surrounding 100km the countrywide best known football club. The focus is on the nearer 50-75km which is called the home of the lions. In the lions home we are activating supporters and members of the club as well as young talented players and sponsors who are interested in supporting the local brand in their activities in empowering youngsters in doing sports.
Over one million people call the lions district their home and life here. There is a high potential in the district we are awakening. The home games of the first team KSV Hessen Kassel was visited from 40.542 spectators. (2.252 per game). The club has 1218 members (as by 30.06.2018) The base of club work is the education of talented young football players. There are more than 350 youngsters playing in our academy teams as there are 12 teams for men and 4 women teams. The 1st teams plays this season 2018/2019 in the fifth class (Lotto-Hessenliga). All teams are coached by supervisors with an national DFB license.
The club has a great infrastructure for all teams. There are 2 grounds with artificial turf and lots of grass grounds for a parallel training structure the whole year. The heart of the club is a functional building near the club house and the office. There are dressing and functionally rooms for all the teams. The ground for the first team is the Auestadion with a capacity of 18500 spectators, VIP area and a 75 m² video screen.
