Deskrizzjoni tal-Organizzazzjoni

“League of Tolerance” is a volunteer association of human rights defenders, trainers, artists, coaches and youth workers united in aim to protect rights of children and youth in Ukraine, especially youth affected by social issues, such as youth with disabilities, youth of ethnic minorities, young parents, etc., and create sustainable attractive conditions for their involving, participation and development.
We began our social work in 2014, when war conflict in Eastern Ukraine started, and officially registered in 2016.
Targeted audience - youth/social workers, coaches/specialists or youth leaders active within their organizations or communities.
Age of direct beneficiaries - 14-35 years old, indirect beneficiaries - 6-35 years old. At the same time, when recruiting participants, we always invite 20-25 percent of people over 35 years to maintain a connection between experience, competences and the ideas of generations. All the activities of "LOFT" NGO carried out to represent gender and social balance. We have 11 people in our squad and mostly organized different activities to increase competences of child and youth workers. Part of the activities we done with all-side help of alumni of the previous projects, especially TOSOCO (Tolerance, Solidarity, Competence) school for young activists, successfully done in 2016.
Our mission - to protect and assist the development of human diversity. Our aims: the protection of minority rights, including social and ethnic grounds, internally displaced people, LGBTQI, etc.; promotion of cultural enrichment; peacemaking and reconciliation in society; organization of youth participation in national and international programs and activities; raising public awareness about human rights, tolerance towards human diversity, gender equality in the society; the elimination of all forms of violence and abuse.
Regular activities of the "League of Tolerance" are educational and sport events, training of trainers, youth clubs and exchanges.
