Deskrizzjoni tal-Organizzazzjoni

ANKAA Project is a not-for-profit organisation, founded in 2017, that works with communities affected by forced migration and/or unemployment (refugees, asylum-seekers, migrants, people out of employment).
ANKAA’s hybrid model of a social enterprise connects its education programs, focused on social inclusion, with its revenue-generating activities of creating sustainable products under fair and ethical working conditions.
With its holistic approach towards social inclusion ANKAA highlights the interconnection between education and employment.
ANKAA works with people to build tools towards sustainable livelihoods, so that students can rebuild their lives in a dignified and personal manner. We bring people together to work towards mutual goals that are economically, socially, culturally and educationally sustainable and beneficial to all participants.

ANKAA Project Asbl created a sub organization in Athens, Greece for administrative purposes. Both organizations have a common vision: to create equitable pathways to education and employment for vulnerable communities.

ANKAA ASBL’s main goal is to support the work and functioning of the ANKAA Project MKO (NGO) in Athens, Greece.
The ESC project will be led by a working group with members from both organizations (ANKAA in Luxembourg and ANKAA in Greece) in order to guide the volunteers in every step of his volunteering process. The volunteers will benefit from the close collaboration between these two organizations as a better support can be offered to them. The volunteer will be informed before starting his experience about the end to end process.
