Deskrizzjoni tal-Organizzazzjoni

The objective of the Association is promoting the development of Waldorf Education in Ukraine and the protection of the legitimate interests of its members (individual and collective members - parents and pedagogues entities). Goals of Association are the following: - to promote the enrichment and development of national culture, science, art, education by means of introducing to a wide range of public the fundamentals, methodology, and practice of Anthroposophy and Waldorf Education; - to promote the further scientific, methodological and practical development of Waldorf Education fundamentals; - to study the Waldorf Education international experience, to promote international collaboration and exchange of scientific and practical information; - to support Waldorf Education moral and ethical principles as well as its traditions; - to promote the development of Waldorf pre-school, secondary school, high school education as well as extracurricular activities of Waldorf Schools; - to promote the development of Curative Education; - to support the existing Waldorf Schools and to promote the organizing of new ones; - to promote introducing the Waldorf Education into the Ukrainian educational system. For the goals specified above Association: - provides organizational, legal and financial assistance of Waldorf Initiatives of Ukraine; - supports the educational activities for children with special needs; - organizes the informational support of its members concerning educational, cultural and scientific problems; - supports the professional training of its members; - cooperates with the state teacher training institutions; - organizes meetings, conferences, seminars, exhibitions, etc., invites foreign experts and supports the exchange of the delegations; - establishes the mass media; - creates a database; - studies the needs and perspectives of Waldorf Education; - can create international NGOs, international unions and associations; - receives from public authorities and local governments the necessary information for its activities; - makes proposals to the authorities; - supports conducting the education and science experiments and research activities; - contributes to the development of science and education, creating the Waldorf Schools curriculum; - assists initiatives, teachers, students, and pupils; - engages in publishing.
