Tbilisi Youth Centers Union” was established in 2009 by the Tbilisi City Hall. This is the only municipal organization on the city level, which works in the youth direction. Before 2016, June center had an information consultancy profile. But in 2016 it was reorganized.
The main goal of the organization is to create such circumstances for youth that will promote their
knowledge development and skills realization.
“Tbilisi Youth Centers Union” is a dependent organization of the Youth Department of The Tbilisi City
Hall. The main goal is to create opportunities for the youth to be involved in social, economic and
political life. The priorities are following: 1.Educational Opportunities; 2.Healthy lifestyle; 3.
Increasing awareness among young people on the civil rights and priorities; 4. Strengthening
volunteer institute; 5.Support youth to find suitable place in society and on labor market; 6. To
provide free space and education services for youth;
In order to youth support and policy development, In June 2016, Tbilisi City Hall established “Tbilisi
Youth Centers Union”, “Tbilisi European Youth Centre” and “Ponichala Youth Center” were united.
“Tbilisi Youth Centers Union” works in several directions:
1. International relations;
2. Volunteer Institute Development;
3. Healthy Lifestyle Popularization;
4. Non-Formal Education and Training Center;
5. Youth Organization Development Support;
6. Youth Centers in every region of Tbilisi.
In each direction various projects and activities are implemented. Since its establishment to up-to-
date, center had more than 3 500 beneficiaries.
For more effectiveness we collaborate with “Tbilisi Municipal Service Development Agency” and
develop new web-page, where initiators can register their ideas and share with others, idea with the
best results will get financial and administrative support from “Tbilisi City Hall”.
