Deskrizzjoni tal-Organizzazzjoni

As a factor of recognition, tolerance and openness to other cultures, ALIFS' actions are a support for socialisation, participation and involvement in the life of the city. Within the framework of common law measures, they help in supporting integration policies by changing behaviour, attitudes and representations within the society in the country of settlement. They also make it possible to act with migrants and their children to help them build positive, open and plural identities.
As a reference association, and an active player in the development of intercultural mediation in Bordeaux and its various priority districts, ALIFS is also active in other districts of cities within the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region and more particularly in the Gironde Department.
ALIFS structures its interventions around six complementary and closely interacting priority axes, namely: access to rights; access to citizenship and educational practices; cultural actions and artistic practices; the animation of the Republican Integration Contract (CIR); the fight against discrimination; the training of integration actors; and finally, the support of aging migrants.
