Our day care centre is a facility of the Protestant parish of Wolferborn, a district of Büdingen. Wolferborn has about 1200 inhabitants with many clubs and is located about 40 km east of Frankfurt/Main in Hesse. Our day care centre has existed for 140 years. It looks after up to 95 children from the age of 1 until they start school. There are two U3 (1-3 years) groups and 3 Ü3 (3-6 years) groups. They are cared for by a team of 16 professionals, there are 15 female and one male educator. At lunchtime, we offer fresh food for the children, which is prepared by a housekeeping supervisor and two housekeeping staff. Four cleaners ensure a cosy atmosphere. We work in our facility according to the open concept with various functional rooms. The profile of our facility is characterised by liveliness, diversity, openness and religious education. In our daily work, the individuality of the child is just as important to us as social interaction. The opening hours of the day care centre are Monday to Thursday from 7:00 to 17:00, Friday from 7:00 to 14:30.
