L'Espai de L'Actor is a renowned International Centre of Theatre and Film, located in a XVI century farm house, one hour from Barcelona. We provide high quality training for actors, directors, writers, teachers, students and enthusiastic beginners.
This centre is situated in a place of outstanding natural beauty, near the historic city of Vic, half way between Barcelona and the pyrenees. It has 38 hectares of land (including fields, meadows and woodland) and accommodates up to 14 people.

Our mission is ‘to cultivate and celebrate meaningful creative expression within the Performing Arts, whilst contributing deeply to a sustainable and respectful way of living with nature and each other’.

Artists and students from all over the world and particularly from Europe, have been coming over the past 25 years to train in the performing arts and celebrate creativity. We have been hosting individuals from 18 to 70 years old, from all walks of life, on our international theatre workshops.

We are currently developing permaculture and ecological projects at the centre. Over the past three years, young volunteers (between 20 and 30 years old) have been coming to help create forest gardens and organic vegetable gardens which we aim to develop further. We also want to develop other ecological, sustainable projects, such as tree planting and sustainable irrigation systems.

Our target group is anyone interested in the performing arts and sustainable, green living.
