Our organization, Mária Iskolatestvérek, is an international Christian community with a strong presence in Hungary, dedicated to supporting disadvantaged children and young people. For the past 18 years, we have hosted volunteers from Hungary and abroad who participate in our social and educational activities. Volunteers play a key role in our daily work: they offer tutoring, informal education, organize leisure activities, and help run summer camps—especially for children and youth from disadvantaged backgrounds, many of whom are of Roma origin.

Our mission is to reduce social exclusion, increase young people's opportunities, and promote value-based community education. The presence of volunteers not only provides direct support to participants but also fosters solidarity, intercultural dialogue, and the experience of shared European values.

Obtaining the Quality Label would enable us to host more volunteers within the European Solidarity Corps, expanding our impact and reaching more young people in need. The certification would also support the professionalization of our work and strengthen international cooperation.
