Ingens Risus is a non-governmental, non-profit youth organization established in 2017 in Harghita county. Our mission is to empower young people, especially from rural and small urban areas, by supporting their personal and professional development and ensuring equal access to opportunities. We focus on youth with fewer opportunities, including those from minority and disadvantaged backgrounds, and help them grow as active, responsible citizens. Our work centers on international mobility, intercultural dialogue, non-formal education, and outdoor learning. We have implemented and partnered in youth exchanges, training courses, and educational projects promoting cooperation among young people of diverse ethnic, cultural, and social backgrounds. These initiatives provide opportunities to travel abroad, gain intercultural experiences, and develop competences such as teamwork, communication, tolerance, and leadership. Locally, we organize workshops, cultural events, and outdoor activities encouraging inclusion, solidarity, and a healthy lifestyle. Our target group is young people aged 16–25, especially those with fewer opportunities. Our objectives are to: promote intercultural dialogue and social cohesion; prevent marginalization and exclusion; encourage international mobility; promote European values such as democracy, human rights, and solidarity; develop tolerance and non-discrimination; and foster outdoor activities and a healthy lifestyle.
