Youth Work Synergy is an organisation that aims to integrate Luxembourgish newcomer youth into the larger socioeconomic mainstream through creative youth work. We believe that encouraging solidarity is essential for the successful integration of young immigrants into Luxembourg society. With the ESC, we hope to enhance the inclusion of young arrivals by organizing events for young people aged 13 to 18 and young adults aged 19 to 34. The following are the challenges we hope to address through volunteering with the European Solidarity Corps: - school/university dropouts - unemployment - exclusion - intolerance - drug addiction The topics that the hosted volunteers will be working on, will be: - interculturalism - entrepreneurship and career growth - integration - democracy and participation - human rights, including social rights: housing, voting, education, etc. - environment and climate crisis Formats: - workshops - community work - creative art - mini-lectures - competitions - hiking & excursions Methodologies of non-formal and informal learning: - group work, - snowball effect, - presentation, - buzz groups, - silent discussion, etc. We will use/integrate digital tools in all processes.
