Opis organizácie

Bouillargues Handball Nîmes Méditerranée is a non-profit sports association based in Bouillargues, near Nîmes in southern France (Occitanie region). The club competes in the French Women’s Second Division and develops a structured sporting and community project rooted in its local territory. The organisation brings together around 300 registered players across 17 teams, from youth development to national-level competition. The sporting structure is supported by four qualified salaried coaches, ensuring professional supervision and long-term development. In total, the club counts 12 employees, including sports, administrative and communication staff, as well as professional players. The club aims to promote women’s handball and encourage access to sport for young people and the wider community, while promoting values such as respect, solidarity, teamwork and commitment. It also plays an active role locally, with regular activities in schools and educational initiatives promoting physical activity. In addition, the club has developed an international dimension through the organisation of tournaments and exchanges with European teams, strengthening cultural exchange and opening the organisation to a broader European network.
