CONECTA, founded in 2009, is a non-profit organisation based in Motril (Granada, Spain), dedicated to improving the quality of life of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families. Our main mission is to promote the full inclusion of people with ASD in society by addressing their specific needs and breaking down social, cognitive and communication barriers. CONECTA’s main activities include: • Psychoeducational Support: Tailored interventions to develop social, emotional and academic skills, both at the association’s headquarters and in educational settings. • Inclusive Leisure and Socialisation: Activities that foster social interaction, emotional well-being and community participation. • Autonomy Training for Adults: Practical workshops to enhance independence and daily living skills. • Employment Support: Guidance to identify vocational profiles, acquire job-related skills and connect with employers. • Awareness and Accessibility: Campaigns promoting understanding, accessibility and acceptance of people with autism. • Volunteer Promotion: Coordination of volunteer programmes with specialised training and professional supervision. As a Host and Lead Organisation within the European Solidarity Corps, we aim to expand our inclusive actions to a European dimension, coordinating solidarity initiatives that strengthen cooperation among organisations and communities.
