Based in disadvantaged areas north of Paris, Planet Citizens conducts a program teaching Languages through physical activities. While always teaming up with the schools' teachers, educators and Planet Citizens' staff, the volunteer will be tasked with the following missions: - Assist teachers in local elementary schools (3-11 years old pupils) in preparing and conducting English/German and sports lessons. - Create opportunities for pupils to practice English during PE lessons, homework support and after school activities. - Participate to make the youth aware of European Citizenship and mobility. -Get involved in the development of the "Sport & Languages" pedagogical method (tools, application) - Get involved in the local community. Mission from September 2026 to March 2027.
Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport
The volunteer will share a furnished flat with two other european volunteers in Saint-Denis. Accommodation costs during the mission is covered. A transportation card, allowing the volunteer to use all public transport in Paris area, and a bike are provided . 465€/month of mission (pocket money and activity cost) + Money to buy the monthly transportation card.

European Solidarity Corps "On arrival training", organized by the French National Agency. Pedagogical weekly meeting (Evalutation of the kids, impact measures, lesson preparation..) Personal and individual support for future individual projects.
Profil tal-parteċipant
The mission is for any European from 18 to 30 years old passionate about teaching kids English through sports, with good communication skills. We are particularly looking for : - Motivated profile who wants to have social positive impact. - Physical Education graduates and sports coaches - Elementary school student or with teaching experiences, looking for an experience abroad. We will also be happy to welcome and support sport enthusiasts with a motivation to help children in socially disadvantaged areas.
