This is a social project, long term,(flexible) which takes place in, rural area of Portugal, 1 hour from Lisbon. Volunteers have the opportunity to develop their projects in different fields of work, in a rotating program in order to combat the routine and provide new challenges for young people and community. we look for criativity. We work: inside of community, with kids; people with disabilities, people with reduced mobility, community environmental projects, dog shelter, community social development, forest surveillance, food projet, project management youth association, and mobility. criativity and iniciative. The aim of this project is to give them the opportunity to get to know our country, our culture and our work. Volunteers will live in our local community helping children and trying to integrate them with the elderly population. Arrouquelas the population is mostly elderly, so we want volunteers to create a greater interaction between the young people and these people.
Настаняване, хранене и транспорт
The volunteers all live together in a house in our village in interaction with the local community, a large house with 5 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. with all living conditions and all household equipment; internet; a small farm for farming and domestic animals, a small pool. There is a car that volunteers can use under some rules. some meals are made in the workplaces, others should be prepared at home by the participants, they received food money. Who likes to live in a rural region, a small village, and that suits this situation well. who likes to work as a team in an intercultural dimension. respect other cultures, like animals. Be responsable, take iniciative. In "H2O" all board members are volunteers and we don't have limits for our motivation and creativity, our organization is a big open door for many things that help young people to develop a positive and active participation in the community, and learn in the process of doing.
