Opis
We are looking for volunteers who like to work in a kindergarten in the heart of Berlin, to support the team, work, live, play, have fun, care for children from 1-6 years! The volunteers can contribute their own experiences and support the day-care with individual, one-to-one care (daily play, the implementation of smaller projects, etc). Our volunteers work together with the educational professionals. They contribute their own strengths, offer the children exciting insights into their own culture, and also experience life in a German daycare center themselves. Activities include: Participation in the daily life of the daycare center and support for the educational professionals, Planning and organizing small activities on their own, Accompanying the children's groups on excursions, theater and museum visits, etc., Joint visits to the sports hall – once a week
Ubytovanie, strava a doprava
The project is part of a bigger project coordinated by the German volunteering organisation "ijgd" with all together 18-20 volunteers in different social projects in Berlin. The European volunteers live in different shared flats together (everyone has an own room, kitchen and bathroom will be shared). So there is a group of European Volunteers in different social projects. It also includes the travel budget to and from Berlin, free public transport in Berlin and Brandenburg, language course, etc.
Odborná príprava počas činnosti
The training during the voluntary service includes 2 ESC seminars (organised by the German National Agency), meetings with the fellow volunteers, workshops, etc. and a Kick-Off Seminar (3 days) with ijgd to get to know the volunteer group, ijgd and life in Berlin.
Profil účastníka
Looking for social challenge. Love to play with little kids, care, sensitive, creativ. Well in a team in a lively athmosphere. Reliable, teamplayer. Communicative, say what you need and want (it's Berlin...). - Great: experience with kids (babysitting, internship,...). - Great: German knowledge, real motivation to learn German. Live in a flat with other European Volunteers. Interested in Berlin/Germany/Culture.
