Deskrizzjoni

Five Ukrainian participants of the Erasmus Solidarity Corps will join forces to develop effective, data-driven support initiatives for Ukrainian refugees in Bulgaria. The activity centers on strategic planning, research, and quality assurance. We will: Brainstorm high-impact local activities. Review successful practices on the Erasmus+ platform and compare them with projects in other European countries. Conduct strategic sessions to shape new interventions. Test and improve systems for project monitoring and evaluation (M&E) to ensure lasting impact and accountability. Try new tools and ways of dessimination practicies.

Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport

All volunteers will be housed in a fully furnished shared residence near the FSCOD centre. Accommodation provides private bedrooms and shared kitchen/bathroom facilities. A single monthly allowance is budgeted to cover all essentials: food, pocket money, and local transport. The apartment is located in a safe, accessible district of Sofia, ideal for exploring the capital. Finally, travel costs for the international journey will be reimbursed in line with Erasmus program standards.

Taħriġ matul l-attività

Preparatory pre-deaprture training follows with a structured on-arrival induction delivered by the Open Doors staff, providing a comprehensive overview of FSCOD's mission and ongoing initiatives. Furthermore, a short mid-term gathering is anticipated, supported by the Bulgarian National Agency, to review progress. Specialized skill development will cover crucial topics such as event coordination, non-violent communication (NVC), and intercultural competence. Throughout their tenure at FSCOD, volunteers will benefit from continuous mentorship and guidance, facilitated via regular team meetings.

Profil tal-parteċipant

We are seeking five motivated individuals aged 18-30 from Ukraine who identify as having the strong potential to support the civil activism and European values. These volunteers should possess a strong enthusiasm for social inclusion, cultural exchange, and community engagement. The project requires candidates with strong communication skills and a genuine willingness to learn and contribute to the overall strategic overview. A keen interest in the refugee sector is essential, coupled with a passion for working with vulnerable communities and youth. The work will heavily involve informal and non-formal education activities focused on career empowerment for migrants. Volunteers should be ready to actively participate in dynamic activities such as team-building, collaborative brainstorming, detailed research, strategic modelling, and coaching events and activities.
