The EU developed an EU Youth Strategy and wants young people to engage and become an active citizen involved in democracy and society. We want young people to tell us what is important to them by taking part in the EU Youth Dialogue.

Evidence-based policy-making

EU Youth policy should be evidence-based and anchored in the real needs and situations of young people. That requires continuous research as well as outreach to young people and youth organisations.

EU Youth Strategy evaluation

The European Commission evaluated the EU Youth Strategy in 2024:

Every 3 years, the Commission reports on the implementation of the EU Youth Strategy in the ‘EU Youth Report’.
