No. Booking accommodation is the sole responsibility of the participant. It is highly recommended not to book accommodation until you have received your travel pass. With the DiscoverEU discount card you may be able to find affordable accommodations like at Youth hostels.
No. The action does not cover these costs. Accommodation and subsistence costs, as well as travel expenses created by the participants' preferences (e.g. starting your travel from another country) or any other expenses related to the travel shall be covered by the participants. However, the contractor will provide you with the DiscoverEU discount card, which offers some discounts on accommodation, luggage storage and many other services throughout Europe.

No. You shall not book or purchase your travel passes and tickets yourself, as passes purchased separately shall not be reimbursed. Travel passes and any complementary transport ticket will exclusively be booked, purchased and delivered by the contractor designated by EACEA.
You should also consider not booking and paying for any accommodation until you are sure about your travel dates and have received your travel pass.
You are free to travel together with friends who were also awarded a travel pass. You can also change groups and even direction at any point during your travel.
During the booking process, make sure to put the same start date as the rest of the participants you want to travel with.
Yes, this is possible. Members of one group can travel independently. Travel passes are personal.
In the event of technical issues, such as not receiving a confirmation code/email or details submitted incorrectly, please contact the contractor responsible for the booking. The communication process will be explained in the e-mails you will receive.
